Synopsis (Goodreads):
There are three things you need to know about Kat Tanner (aka Kathleen Tyson. . . and yes, she is *that* Kathleen Tyson): 1) She’s determined to make good decisions, 2) She must get married ASAP, and 3) She knows how to knit.

Being a billionaire heiress isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. In fact, it sucks. Determined to live a quiet life, Kat Tanner changed her identity years ago and eschewed her family’s legacy. But now, Kat’s silver spoon past has finally caught up with her, and so have her youthful mistakes. To avoid imminent disaster, she must marry immediately; it is essential that the person she chooses have no romantic feelings for her whatsoever and be completely trustworthy.

Fortunately, she knows exactly who to ask. Dan O’Malley checks all the boxes: single, romantically indifferent to her, completely trustworthy. Sure, she might have a wee little crush on Dan the Security Man, but with clear rules, expectations, and a legally binding contract, Kat is certain she can make it through this debacle with her sanity—and heart—all in one piece.

Except, what happens when Dan O’Malley isn’t as indifferent—or as trustworthy—as she thought?
Thoughts on Marriage of Inconvenience: I am DEEPLY smitten with Kat and Dan's romance. I mean, I adore Dan's foul mouth (loooooove it, along with his mother's contributions to any f-bomb laden conversations) and I like how his rough edges don't faze Kat IN THE SLIGHTEST (well, okay, maybe that one time, but she mostly goes along with it without batting an eye). But then, given her past, I can understand why a little salty language is nothing to get worked up over. Especially since Dan's heart is pretty much solid gold and he's a totally stand-up guy.

I think the thing I liked the most, however, was how the two of them did learn from their mistakes. A misunderstanding kept them from starting their romance years earlier and when things got dicey later, they didn't just let things slide. They confronted one another and made sure there weren't any of those pesky misunderstandings muddying up the water.

Which isn't to say everything is wine and roses. They both have issues they have to work through. Sticky issues. Issues that could easily cause more issues. They figure things out, though. GLORIOUSLY.

As far as final books in a long-running series go, this book hit all the sweet spots. We got to say goodbye to characters we've come to know and love over the course of the six previous books. We got to commiserate with Sandra. We got to see a future that was everything I wanted.

I'm sad to say goodbye to this group, but I'm thrilled with the way everything played out. <3 <3 <3
